By default, no — pages are copied losslessly, keeping selectable text and sharp vectors. Quality only changes if you turn on Compress output, which trades some fidelity for a smaller file (Low, Medium, or High preset).

You can merge up to 15 PDFs per batch, with a 50 MB cap per file. For larger jobs, merge in batches and then combine the results.
